I told you how much I love kittens, but, my other love is SHOES! They don’t necessarily have to be high heels either. Any cool looking shoe will do! I teach Zumba and Kickboxing, so, I spend most of my time in comfortable gym shoes. I am a bit of a gym rat. Which is great, because my mascara looks awesome! I love my shirt that says, “Don’t be fooled by the mascara!”

They have a saying that if you wear your make up to the gym, you aren’t working out hard enough. Well, my younique make up is AWESOME! So, I can sweat like crazy, and it all seems to just stay in place!! I use the BB Cream flawless Bisque color, Moodstruck Mineral Blush sweet color, Lucrative Lip Gloss loveable color, Moodstruck Precision Pencil Eyeliner presumptious color, and of course, 3D Fiberlash Mascara!

I call this my ‘make up for dummies’ kit. It is all very simple to put on, and this is what I wear daily. If I am going out, of course I might bump up my look a little with some extra eye pigments and colors. I was never a big fan of pencil mascaras, but, I am amazed at the quality of this one!

They have some great lip colors! This is just a ton of fun!!!

And this is one of my favorite things! You can use the pigments for a number of fun things! One is using them on the lips! Check this out!! I have seen some amazing make up artists use these pigments in very creative ways! And my favorite thing about them, is that when I do wear them on my eyes, the colors don’t crease!

Mascara And Kittens

What? What does mascara have to do with kittens? I know it sounds weird, but, give me a minute to make a correlation! So, let me just back up a bit and give you some background on me.

I have been married for 8 years to a great guy. We live in a tiny farming town with a population of about 1500. I moved here with him from a large city, and even though I get up early and let my chickens out every morning, I milk goats and cows, and have a free range pet bunny, I am still a bit of a diva! I have so many stories of a city girl adjusting to country life, but, I will tell you those later! My husband jokes that we need an entire room in our house just to store my shoes. I overheard him telling someone the other day, “The weirdest thing about my wife’s shoe closet is that the shoes just keep multiplying, but, she doesn’t have any breeding pairs in there, so, I don’t know how they get there!”

So, back to mascara and kittens. The truth is, I love mascara, shoes, AND kittens! I think my inner diva identifies with the way cats are total divas! They are cute, they are fluffy, and they are indulgent in every way! And many of them look like they have the best make up on!

So, I will review 3D Fiberlash Mascara, I will give you tips on how to put it on, and I will talk about make up! But, I can’t help but to discuss my other two favorite things. Kittens and shoes. So, I hope you don’t mind an occasional cat photo, and when I find a really cool pair of shoes …… I will post them!!

Mascara – It’s Selfie Time !!!

That’s right folks, it’s selfie time! I have had so much fun with this make up! I am starting to get into the entire line of products, but, of course, my number one obsession is the best mascara on the planet! Ok, maybe I am a bit bias, but, can you guess which eye is wearing regular mascara, and which eye is wearing 3D Fiberlash Mascara?

Do you need me to give you a hint? LOL! Ok, so aside from adding 300% extra volume and length to my lashes, there are so many more benefits. It’s gluten free, which, might not seem like a big deal to some! But, many of you know I am a gluten free eater. (I am actually a pretty big health nut!) I don’t have massive allergies to gluten like some people, but, this is important to those that can’t even touch gluten!

My other favorite tidbit….. this mascara doesn’t do any testing on animals. YEAH!! Of course, I love anything small, cute, and fuzzy! My daughter and I have ‘cute’ wars on facebook! We find the absolute cutest animals we can find and post them on each others walls. I know, pretty dorky for grown adults!! Oh well!

So, back to amazing mascara! Another one of my favorite things about 3D fiberlash mascara is how easy it is to use! They go on quickly, easily, and they wash off easily as well. I have very sensitive eyes, and I have absolutely no trouble with these lashes. They also last ALL DAY LONG! I have even given them the water resistant test. Ever been in a room with 900 people, and had anyone from the Make A Wish foundation speak? I was not just crying, I was literally sobbing! Not a dry eye in the room, but, hey, my lashes looked amazing!!

I was a bit skeptical when I first heard about this ‘miracle mascara’. But, I figured, for only $35 bucks for a 2 month supply, I had nothing to lose. I had spent A LOT more than that on regular mascara! Supposedly, this stuff was supposed to give my lashes 300% more volume and length, blah, blah, blah. Ok, what ever. This is a photo of a sample of Younique 3D Mascara! In reviewing different mascara’s and make ups, I really enjoyed Younique’s 3D Mascara. Some of the other brands tend to dust off and flake onto my face, but, this one didn’t do that. In fact, I spent all day in the mascara and had no trouble with it at all. It wears better than a water proof mascara, and comes off just as easy.

Washing Off At The End Of The Day

I tend to run long and hard through out the day. I spend most of my time at the gym, so, I tend to have issues with my make up running. Not with this make up! Not at all! I was surprised at how well it held up. And at the end of the day, I used a wash cloth and some soap, and off it came! I did have to use some make up remover to get what had smeared onto my face off. But, it worked like a charm. In this 3D Mascara review, I don’t have much bad to say about it.

This was the really shocking part for me. Even the ‘cheapest’ mascara isn’t that cheap these days! For a cheap brand, you are looking at spending about $10.00 a month. A lot of people don’t realize that even if you haven’t finished using your mascara, you should throw it out after a couple of months due to bacteria. Anyways, I got off on a side note there!
